Assassins Creed Series Ruined?

You know for so me games the online has taken away from the story but not for assassin's creed. I though brotherhood was a great game, not revolutionary, but great. I played the online for a week and that was it, the online was nothing special. Ubisoft has an extreme amount of people working on ac, maybe like 250 to 300 people. They have enough people to give attention to both parts of the game.
