How can I speed up my PS3's download speed?

I am wondering if anybody knows of any ways I could speed up my Playstation 3's download speed. For now its running pretty slow, last time I checked it said 580.3 kbps. I have Verizon fios wireless with 100% connectivity strength, I disconnect all my other devices from the internet, but nothing changes. Is there anything else I can do?
