My grandparents found a kitten about a few days ago.. Help please!?

It probably is a normal kitten kind of thing. Maybe it is symbolizing it is hungry or it is hurt. Most pets will whine or cry if something is wrong, like babies they can't communicate by speech...so it would be likely that this is the problem.
