I have a spider bite by my eye?

okay so i woke up with a tiny bump and then it got worse and my mom told me to squeeze the poison out so i did and it seems like it made it worse!?! its RIGHT under my eye so it like messes up my eye and i feel like i have a black eye. NEW GREY SPOT IN EYE getting darker.. from contacts?

Even with dry eye, the guy prescribed me toric lenses which are supposed to have a longer lifespan than I shred through them. Since wearing them, I noticed a grey spot on the white part and now it is getting darker. I know this has happened to other people because I see them with REALLY dark grey spots close to where the contacts go. I have stopped wearing contacts, but the spot is not going away. Does anyone know what this is, or how to reverse it? The guy said to relieve "dry eye" to use warm washcloths to improve circulation occasionally, but that does not seem to make the spot go away, I don't like it! I cannot find any answers online. Help?

Driving home i spotted a turtle on the side of the road. Afraid she would wander into the road i got out of my car. Doing a close examination and relizing she was hit and dead, i found that she must have just laid her eggs. So i took the eggs(afraid they would get hit too) and put them in a basket and brought them home. I now have them in a basket and convered with a washcloth in my sunroom where its nice and humid. Why am i not losing weight?

i eat healthy (maybe 1600 calories or less a day), im about 100 lbs overweight (so it should be easier for me to lose weight), i do about a 500 calorie burn workout a day (for 6 days). I've been doing this a month and i've only lost about 2 lbs a week. now i know some of you will say that is normal but i have been working out extremely hard and i know its possible to lose more than 2 lbs a week (its been about 3 weeks since i've been consistently working out). I do some strength training so i know that helps build muscle so im not sure if that is why i haven't lost as much. i don't drink a lot of water a day but i drink a lot of crystal light (which is basically water). im not sure what the problem is.

I am not going to lie, the video wont turn out well. You really can't mesh a very low quality video from your webcam with an HD 1080p video that Brittany shot. She and her producers obviously put millions of dollars into production equiptment, while you only have a low quality webcam. She also uses a program called SONY VEGAS PRO 9, a program costing over $600.00. You really need better equipment, such as a greenscreen, a high quality HD Cam, etc. It wont turn out, sorry.

If someone held a cigarette on you for ten seconds you got a really bad burn perhaps a bad second degree or an early third. Either way you MUST see a doc as it will not heal on its own. My guess is it is pretty infected and you may need antibiotics. Also you must deal with whatever the cause of this abuse was. This is NOT a good or easy thing.

Help! Yellow discharge from Rabbits eye...?

Remember the New Zealand bunny I got? Well, I've had her for a few days, but when I was holder her today I noticed some yellow discharge coming out of her right eye... I'm using the same bedding and such as my teacher, so what's causing this? Also, is there an inexpensive way to help her? We got her because she has a tumor on her neck and wasn't expected to live this long anyways, so I'm not going to get much work done with her. I just don't want her to suffer... so, any ideas? I think I might have an eating disorder?

Ever since my freshman year of high school I've been fairly obsessive over my weight. At the end of my freshman year I weighed around 250. Now I weigh around 200 but I'm still not happy. I only eat 3 times and I have abused laxatives, taken diet pills like appetite suppressants, and binged. I only eat around 1000 calories a day. Everytime I eat I always feel terrible afterward. I workout everyday for about 1-1 1/2 hour with both cardio and strength. I just want to know if what I'm doing is healthy or not?

Get tested if you're paranoid about it. Usually you can't get STD's from drinking after someone else. That's not to say you can't catch other diseases though because there is bacteria from the other person and that may cause small infections but it's very unlikely you got an STD from sharing drinks. As for sharing towels and such, it was so long ago that you would have definitely seen symptoms by now. I would still go get tested though because stressing out about it can actually weaken your immune systerm. It's never a bad idea to get tested.

My brother thinks I am wasting my time by lifting weights. Do you think lifting weights is a waste of time?

My brother did bring up a good point. He said, "You're just wearing your joints down. Once you stop doing all of that heavy weight lifting, you lose your gains real fast. All of your hard work goes to crap. You have to keep lifting weights for the rest of your life to keep your gains. Do you really want to lift heavy weights for the rest of your life?" I didn't really know what to say to that. He is right. I knew some guys who were seriously into strength training and weight lifting and they lost all of their bulk and strength within a few months after quitting. And Arnold Schwarzenegger recently said he looks terrible and his body feels terrible because he is getting old. So, in a sense, I guess you could say all of his weight lifting earlier in his life didn't carry over and benefit him in his old age. So should I keep lifting weights? Will this really benefit me? I did lat pull downs behind the back like an idiot to strengthen my weak left shoulder but it actually injured my left shoulder, i had pain for a week and then stopped. Its been almost a year now, but when i lift over head my left arm struggles like it has no strength and when doing bench its the same, with my left shoulder burning where the rotator cuff is. Hey folks so I was wondering , have you ever noticed how movies/tvshows make the idea of falling in love and being in a relationship such an easy thing to do? Sometimes it really gets on my nerves because in reality that's what almost never happens , at least in my life that is. I really like this guy who works as a teller at my local bank . Weight lifting question?

I take animal pack vitamins in the morning right when i wake, then drink my pre lift N.O. (white flood). While lifting i drink Size On and then whey protein directly towards end of lift. After this I drink nlarge high protein weight gainer about 15 minutes after lift is completed. Is this a good thing to do? Ive noticed my strength has gone up a little. Im 32 years old 6'2" and 197 lbs and really just started lifting hardcore in the last 3 or 4 months. Thank you

How do I get rid of sunburn irritation faster?

I got a pretty bad sunburn Monday and it still burns really bad. My chest isn't as red, but my shoulders are still as red as they were Monday night. I have tried aloe lotion, and it seems to not be helping the irritation. I got a wet washcloth and let it sit on either of my shoulders a Tuesday, but it didn't really help. Covering your face in a tanning bed?

You can cover your face but I would suggest using sunblock either way. I have freckles and they darken very easily and I do both because unless it's a material made to block out uv rays, it will still penetrate the cloth and you can still get darkened freckles. Believe it or not.

Diskette drive or DISK drive. If its looking for a diskette (A: drive) and you don't have one (most people don't these days) then you'll have to go into the BIOS and disable the A: drive. Unless you do that the machine will keep looking for it because the BIOS says there is one there. Press F2 to get into setup. Not knowing the manufacturer I don't know which BIOS you have but if you can't see anywhere to disable the A: drive then go into the boot order and put the A: drive at the end of the list.

A fever is the body's way of fighting an infection. Most viruses that make us sick need a very specific temperature to survive. When the immune system raises your body temperature, it is helping to kill the infection. My granddad told us he was a big comic book mogul and owned CHARLTON COMICS. Dry flakes of skin above my lip?

I take very good of my lips. And i moisturize my skin. But i keep getting like these like dry flakes of skin above one side of my lip and sometimes itll move from one side to the other. Its not a coldsore. I've tried gently removed the flakes with a warm washcloth and then applying vaseline. It always comes back after a few hours. And its worse in the morning when I wake up cause I wasnt able to apply anything while I was sleeping. How long does it take to get back into shape? I'm getting very discouraged!!?

I am a 21 year old female and I am 5'5" and weigh 126. I used to be in decent shape but I stopped working out regularly for the past couple of years (I would still work out but it was sporadic and very inconsisent, for the most part I went back to my sedentary ways). So I got super sick in December and January (from stress from work and school, getting ecoli, and having an autoimmune disease called lupus that makes it worse) and went down to 115 lbs. I kinda liked it but I also didn't because I felt really weak and frail and wanted to gain it back. So I did, and since the beginning of this month I have been exercising a lot more than I have in recent years, and I have been eating healthy like crazy too. I want to be 120 lbs give or take. But the scale won't budge! I have been weighing myself everyday and it's like no matter what I do...idk. It's just so discouraging. Am I meant too be a porky or something? Also, when I work out I get out of breath easily and have to take a lot of breaks or stop for a few seconds (I mostly run on the treadmill but I have been doing some weights too) I feel that since I have been working out for a month I should be getting results in not just weight loss but better endurance and strength...but I am not making any progress! How long should it take, should it take a few more months to a year? My guy says I should not be hard on myself because of what I went through when I was really sick, especially when I went to the hospital. I am just getting discouraged...and reading those fitness magazines for women are not helping either. I am just trying to do my best to be healthy and fit again but it feels like I m working hard for nothing.

Did my duck egg go bad?

TEACHING A KITTEN WHAT A MOM CAT TEACHES?

Some cats bury their business, others do not. Many that have a more dominant personality will leave their business uncovered, sort of as a sign that they are *here* and don't need to hide. So that's may be more of a personality issue than a training one. Not sure what to suggest on the grooming issue - just keep doing what you're doing, and be sure to brush/comb her as cats really do need to groom to keep their fur from matting, etc.

Is there anything I can do to help my recently neutered dog be more comfortable?

My 7 month old toy poodle puppy (6.7 pounds if that makes a difference) just got neutered but had a Crypt Orchid (sp?) so the wound is a little different. He has one line on the side of his thing that's probably 2 inches long and sticks out and another little one on the other side that looks fine. That's how it looked when I picked him up, nothing's changed so I'm not worried about that. He is breast fed, but I have bottles for him. I have to place the bottles in a bowl of boiling water to warm up for his feeding. I recently had a foot injury which willprevent me from doing leg workouts for a month or two (squats, deadlifts, etc..). 2-a-days are in a month and a half and i do not want to lose strength. Would it be wise to just lift upper body and get stronger? My Max for bench press is 220 and squat is like 275. My upperbody is very close to the same strength of my legs which i know is bad. I rescued a baby Mohave Ground Squirrel from my cat.?

They're listed as a protected species. Its not bleeding at all, but I think it might be too young to be have weaned. I know its mother will never take it back since I touched it. okay so i got the latest issue of seventeen fitness the one with Nina Dobrev as the cover...Theres workouts in it that have a calender. They work really well (the strength excersices) but i want to target my abs so i do my ab workout and the workout required for that day. i workout every other day. I'm 15 years old and for about a year or two now I've had excessive sweat in my underarms. I've tried all kinds of deodorant, including clinical strength, and some even just make it worse. I've tried eating healthier and drinking more water but that doesn't work either. The only thing that seems to work is when I don't think about it. Would two Surge protectors be better to protect my phone line?

my computer and electronics are plugged into two surge protectors under my desk, one for the computer and one for the networking so that way neither strip has a ton of stuff on it. One of the protectors my phone line is plugged into it and the other is just a regular surge protector. Babys have too short of an attention span to be spoiled before 1 yrs old trust me. He will forget things in an instant after they happen. Get his ears checked for an infection right away, they hit with no symptoms but crankiness sometimes. He's certainly crying for a reason..once the doctor rules that out you can contribute it to something else. But its all about the process of elimination. Something is definately not right with him you need to find out what. If his ears are clear it could definately be teething at his age, which religious use of tylenol and teethers will help. But I guarantee its a sneaky ear infection...that's the usual culprit. Easily cured by a quick office visit and some antiobiotics he will be feeling better in 2-3 days. They are very painful so I would get him checked asap.

I'm going to be the one person on here who gives a realistic answer, lol. I think Anorexic people typically consume around 500-1000 Calories a day, if the Anorexic is a calorie counter. Some Anorexics that I've known actually over eat, or simply eat things that have a ton of Carbs but nothing else, like Chips, Soda, that sort of thing. Anorexics tend to think they don't need to workout, because they feel that they don't have anything to burn, because they are already skinny, when the reality is they need to eat more, and excercise more. I know most Anorexics do Mild Cardio when they workout, and occasionally SitUps, but not much else. Some of them run track wildy, it really depends on the person. I believe Calorie wise it also depends on what they choose to eat, and whether they have a high or low metabolism.

Cat is having problems with giving birth?

The cat that I have went into labor 26 hours ago. I'm certain she needs vet care but I can't afford it. This is a stray cat I took in recently, and my dad just won't let me take her to a vet because it would cost way too much. She's got a yellowish fluid coming out, ambiotic fluid from what a friend's mother said (My friend Emily's mom is a vet but she doesn't live where I do). I believe on of the kittens is dead, if not all of them. I've basically been told by Emily's mom that my cat is going to die. She said to put a cold washcloth on the cat's stomach to help though. I don't know what I can do, and I am not allowed to do anything to help her because of how much it costs. We live in a place where the nearest vet's office is in another town. My family just doesn't even have money for our rent, none the less a C-section for a cat that showed up in our house one day that we decided to let stay. Is there anything that I can do beyond that to help? I know its horrid that I can't take her to a vet but I really just can't. There's no way that dad would let me. I have fraternal twins, 21 months. It seems after I wipe their faces after breakfast or a meal they get a rash around their mouth (little red bumps) they do seem to fade over a few hours. Months and months ago I thought they were getting binky rashes so I took all the right steps and it turns out it wasn't the case. I use a damp washcloth to clean them after meals, I use special washcloths that get washed in their hypo-allergenic detergent (I do put them in the 'bleachable' load to sanitize them, but when thats done I put the washcloths in the baby laundry-so any bleach is washed away). I thought it might be the washcloths (100%cotton) but I have seen this with dry paper towels, too. They don't have an appointment with the pedi for a few months, and I don't think its worth going in for right now, just wondering if you have ever seen this or had any ideas? Thanx!

Best foundation to use for acne + continuous acne problems?!?

at the moment I've been using acne solutions foundation from clinique. i went to this foundation after nothing but clogged pores from covergirl. i usually only have acne on my chin so i was hoping that clinique would help. at night i wash first with a neutrogena pore cleanser, then with a neutrogena green scrub, then st. ives blackhead fighter, then clinique's acne solution. i also have a solution from the dermatologist which i put on my acne spots every night. I've had acne since 6th grade... in the same spot. you can see frustration here. I also don't wash my face in the morning, don't get mad i'll explain in a minute. I clean off the solution from the dermatologist with a washcloth with water, then put on cliniques moisture surge. i also have dry skin in the morning and by the end of the day it is very oily. the reason i don't wash my face in the morning is because if i have a few zits on my chin, when i wash my face it will somewhat pop the zit and foundation over a newly popped zit is not good. plus the zit continues to still push out all the stuff in it. acne ruins my life and after a number of visits to the dermatologist, nothing works. Waking up with really bad head aches?

Am studying diesel mecanic and am actually able to do it on front single tires with aluminum wheels by moving it from back to front and checking that the play is between 0.001 inch and 0.005 inch with my dial indicator with no sweat, but today I had to do it on the back heavy spokes wheels with dual tires. I did what I had to do and checked my play by moving the tires back to front and got 0.003 inch play which is good. Then a friend showed me a trick by hitting the tires on the bottom with his knee and it gave him 0.005 inch, but then the teacher pulled the hub spokes and pushed it and gave him 0.006 inch. I tried to follow him but it didn't move. When it did, the maximum that I could get was 0.002 inch which took me quite a while to get it. AND, for you to be on birth control they do have to give you a PAP SMEAR. they don't give it to you right away. they give it to you like a month or so after you start birth control if you go on the pill. the pap smears are not that bad so i would go ahead and let the do one if i was you. they are a little embarrassing however. just mention to the doctor that you may been pregnant. and they will give you a pregnancy test and you will get the results right away. they will have you pee in a cup. however, if it is too soon to tell and it has been less than 72 hours, ask them about plan b one step. if you go to a teen health clinic they will give it to you free. You should be worried because pregnancy can happen at anytime just don't stress it too much until you get a test done (:

I have been using Head and Shoulder "Classic Clean" for about 2 weeks now and its done wonders to my back, I started off leaving my H&S on over night to get rid of the worse acne but now I Just leave it on for like 5 Min's then wash it off in the shower it does wonders for me! Hardly any spots now! its supposedly because of the pyrithione zinc in it! Also remember to drink PLENTY of water, try using lemon juice and leaving it on for about 10-15 min it apparently balances oils and clears up scars while giving you a glowy look :)

i have a robin`s nest in the tree beside my bedroom window. one iof the babys got rejected by it`s mother and i found it on the ground in a pile of leaves. it is very weak and is barely breathing, i have it in a shoebox with a pillowcase in it. it is wrapped up pretty well in a washcloth and i have a warm light above it just enough so that it can get some extra warmth. what i have fed it was a mixture of powdered skim milk, oats, 1 crushed up tums and a bit of water to make it a kind of liquidy. i have read you are not supposed to give baby birds water or any other liquid. Did i hurt the bird or is what i`m giving it okay? also the baby bird is about 4 days old. what should i feed it? will animal services take it and help it or am i on my own? and do you expect it to live? Why won't my wii connect to the internet?

it makes no sense, my computer is connected just fine the signal strength is excellent. The wii was connected earlier today now it won't work. The settings are all in already everything has been set up it just won't connect. My boyfriend set this up so maybe I'm just dumb and missing something here. " LOL do something like that. you could also use like your mom's car & pretend to be singing in it & create your own dance moves. I want to lose 10 pounds in 2 months, is this possible? I am 5'5 and 132 pounds. I plan on running on my treadmill for 30 mins, & burning at least 200 calories 4 out of the 7 day week. How to quickly bring down face swelling? (wisdom teeth)?

I got all my wisdom teeth out on tuesday (it's saturday) and my face is still pretty swollen, more so in one cheek than the other, so i look kind of chipmunky. it's come down some but i have to go to work tomorrow and i have plans monday (with a guy!) so i really need it to come down. i iced it for the first three days and i tried massaging my cheeks with a warm washcloth once, but it hasn't helped much. any tricks to bring down swelling fast? anyone tried anything?

I am 20 years old 5'11, 145lb I can bench 270lb, dumbbell shoulder press 80lb dumbbells, tricep extenstion 120lb dumbbell (2 hands), bicep curl 55lb dumbbells and leg press 520lb. I feel like I always push myself to the max and train heavy and intense. The thing that I do not understand is that my body frame stays the same I get stronger but I do not get any bigger as you can see from my weight 145lb. Any advice would be appreciated.

Kitten eye infection ? ?

Okay so my cat had kittens 4 weeks ago (the mom was a stray and we found her pregnant and we already made an appointment to get her fixed once the kittens are weaned) but anyway she has 3 kittens they are all doing well and are walking and running around just fine. Their eyes opened when they were about 2-2 1/2 weeks old. But one kittens eye ha always had a little trouble, sometimes it would be crusted shut and I'd open it with a warm washcloth. At first I thought it was just goop from their eyes just opening but then the other ones didn't have this problem. And now there's like yellow goop coming out of his right eye daily! I wipe it out a often as possible but it's still coming! We've made appointments for their regular 8 week check-ups and my mom can't move it up any closer. Soo I was wondering if there is anything I can do in the meantime to stop it or prevent the other 2 kittens from getting it? Thanks in advance :)

My cat has a mysterious wound?

i was petting my cat and i noticed she had a cowlick in her fur on her hind leg, near her tail. she growled when i touched it and my fingertips were wet, it was clear fluid, no color. i'm not sure if she was licking it and that's why it was wet, or what ever that sore is has been running and that's what liquid i felt. i put the cat on the counter and she growled when i moved the fur around the wound, like it hurt her. the skin was reddish looking but it didn't look like an open wound. i took a washcloth and touched it to the wound and she howled so i let her go and there was a reddish orange spot on the cloth. what could be wrong? the wound was like the size of an m&m, and the cat hasn't been in any fights to get something like it

Waking up with really bad head aches?

A couple weeks ago i got into a fight, this crazy chick punched the back of my head consistently. and the next morning i had like 3 goose eggs on the back of my head. Ever since then i've been waking up in the morning with REALLY bad head aches, taking 2 extra strength advils barely seems to help. and the head aches usually last all day. i dont have any bruises left on my head or bumps so i dont know why im getting these bad head aches.

Why Babolat warranty replacement policy of racquets suck?

My kid found his racket was cracked while under warranty and when it was submitted for replacement, babolat claimed they couldn't since the frame fiber has been exposed. It was actually had been exposed very slightly and hard to imagine frame loosing strength over that. Do other racquet manufactures have a tough policy on their tennis racquets? I will not be bying Babolat tennis racquets in the future.

Distended stomach, please help?

I am quite fit and healthy, I exercise practically everyday (mostly kickboxing, walking, and strength training). I also try my best to make sure I eat very healthy. I'm lactose intolerant I'm not much for meat/fish but I make sure to get all my nutrients in my meals. I'm 5'8" and weigh around 120 (it varies from 120 to 123 from time to time). I have a pretty strong core and I know there is still a small amount of fat around my stomach but my stomach always looks HUGE. I have some GI problems but I'm on medicine for that and my stomach doesn't hurt or feel bloated. Is there something I could be doing wrong or something that I'm not doing to fix this?

How can I speed up my PS3's download speed?

I also havebeen doing some of the beach body videos,, the thing is your muscles are getting used to the exercises you do, you need to change it up maybe start going for runs and things like that and one thing that can help is eating fiber!!! It makes you feel alot fuller so you will be using up fat cells but be sure to drink lots of water with fiber

Could it be bleach poisoning?

I washed some towels and washcloths in bleach this morning. I didn't have time to dry them, so I used a wet towel. Not too long afterward, I started having a burning sensation in my stomach and a little nausea. I haven't had much to eat, so I don't think it has anything to do with food. Also, eating seems to make it worse. Could it be bleach poisoning? If so, should I go to the hospital?

I went to bed fine. Then I just woke up with my right ear hurting very bad. I just tried putting rubbing alcohol in there and the warm washcloth. Please help me it hurts so bad I cant sleep :(

How much black stuff should be on my MTB's derailleur/cassette/drivetrain if any?

First off, I bought this bike used, and have only ridden it twice. After the first two rides, I hosed it down and used a washcloth on the larger components (frame, rotors, seat post, rims, etc.) then I lubed the chain. I plan to take a brush to the cassette, derailleurs, and chainrings as well as use a Park Tool chain-cleaning kit on the chain after my third ride. But anyhow, I noticed that there is quite a bit of black build-up on the cassette, teeth of the chainrings, derailleur pulleys, as well as the chain itself. Not an insane amount, but more of like a medium-thin coating. Nothing is too "gunked up" or anything, and you can still see the most of the metal through it, but it sure isn't shiny. The cassette has the stuff on it, not completely black and thick, but again, it just is not shiny. The chain has enough on it for a decent amount to rub off on your hand if you brush against it. The derailleur pulleys probably have the most "gunk" on them. Should I have this much, or am I overdoing the lube? I use Rock 'N' Roll Extreme if that makes a difference. Also, anything more cleaning I should be doing? Any tips? This is a pretty high-end bike, and I'd just like to keep it as clean as possible. Thanks.

Zit issue!? Please help?

So I have a zit- sort of at the beginning of my nostril- not inside my nose. It's came to head barely, and I put a hot washcloth on it two separate times. Some stuff came out out it, only a little. The spot is a little red. I've been using the neutrogena acne pen, and it's helped , but not very much. Will my zit be worse by tomorrow morning? I'd like to have it gone as soon as possible. Any suggestions?

Help!! toilet clogged with washcloth...?

I'm an idiot and a washcloth fell into the toilet as it was flushing and now it's clogged. I stupidly tried flushing it a few times and it overflowed. I feel depressed because I have lost/stolen items after 1 semester of college.?

We live in a super fast paced world with every one and everything demanding more from us. Young and old alike nowadays have been forced to find ways to help us remember everything. A checklist helps a lot. You could keep a small list of important items you never want to drop or leave behind and every time you go somewhere check to make sure you have these things with you, and secured so they don't drop or fall. A lot of people always lose their keys constantly, best thing to do is put them in the same place every time you come home. If you carry a purse hook them to it. At least you don't take your things for granted you actually feel bad about this happening that is good, but don't beat yourself up. Now days more than ever we are surrounded by people who take our stuff thinking they need it worse. It's happening everywhere. I know you hate having to tell your parents about your phone but hopefully it is insured for a replacement where they got it. If not from now on be sure to pay the extra 15 bucks or whatever is required, to insure it gets replaced, and your parents wont have to spend high amounts to replace these items. That will make you feel better. My husband ran over a brand new phone. It fell out of his pocket and onto the ground he backed up over the top of it. The next time we got the insurance. I feel better. I know your parents are mostly happy your staying in school and trying your hardest. So hang in there. They care more about you than the things.
